Now or Never Manizha
In 2022, I co-directed a music video for the "Now or Never" song by Tajik-Russian singer Manizha, based on my documentary "Fans are Waiting!". The reason for our collaboration was the financial support of the "Shapak" hockey club, the only girls' hockey team in Kyrgyzstan.

Every hour in Kyrgyzstan, a girl is kidnapped for marriage, resulting in one-third of all marriages in the country being non-consensual. This phenomenon is called “Ala Kachuu” - the abduction of girls for forced marriage. In rural regions, people justify “Ala Kachuu” or so-called women's abduction for forced marriage by referring to it as a quintessential Kyrgyz tradition. The ‘Abduction’ feature film tells the story of a 16-year-old student Azhar being kidnapped. The short actively promotes the narrative of abduction as a crime, and invites viewers to prevent this crime through joint and sustained action.

Video Production
Working at a PR and production studio "Media Kitchen" I produced over 30 commercials, award-winning short films, and documentaries.

Working solo I started the documentary novel "Ban the Women", dedicated to women and girls in Kyrgyzstan, and filmed a music video for Manizha. Currently, I work on a new documentary, dedicated to different feminisms in the world.
I write long reads and do data journalism when an interesting topic pops up in my mind related to gender and feminism.

The "KanTip?" project of educational video tutorials for girls and women about menstrual hygiene gained 4 million views (when there are only 7 million Kyrgyz people). I received many words of thanks, as well as death threats, but it was fun.
